HOW TO PLAY – RULES (Over 18s)
It’s simple: pick the winner of one Premier League match each week.
Tournament Format
- You will make one selection per week for three weeks at a time.
- If your selected team wins, you progress to the next week.
- If your selected team loses or draws, you are eliminated.
- This process continues until there is a winner.
Team Selection Rules
- You cannot select the same team more than once during the tournament.
- If you select a team you have already used, you will be automatically assigned the first available team in alphabetical order that you have not yet selected.
- Once a team is automatically assigned, the selection cannot be changed.
Ongoing Rounds
- After the completion of Week 3, you will receive a new link to submit your next three selections.
- This will continue every three weeks until the competition ends.
Buy-Back Option
- After every third week, if you have been eliminated, you will have the option to buy back in for €10.
- The same rules apply: you cannot select any team you previously picked.
Prize Rules
- If two or more participants are eliminated in the same week and no one remains, the prize will be shared equally among them.
- If more than one participant remains after Week 12 fixtures, the prize will be divided equally between those still standing.
Notifications
- Participants will be notified by text message if they progress to the next round.
- Please ensure the mobile number on your registration is correct.
Entry Details
- You may have more than one entry in the competition.
- Cost: €10 per entry.
- Closing date: Friday, 23rd January (Gameweek 24).
